Katherine Kent gave the  pupils a fascinating insight into the world of the         illustrator at her Oracle   Lecture on Wednesday 10th February.  Pupils, parents and staff were all spellbound by the depth of thought and passion which went into the production of her book “The Handmade Horse”.       Needless to say she was flooded with questions at the end of her talk.

Lucy Redman wins    coveted Art scholarship to Sherborne Girls’ School

Zach Spiers off to King’s College   Taunton on major sports scholarship

Zach had to go head to head with over fifty other boys and girls chasing KCT’s sports awards.  Rugby is his passion, but he gives a cricket ball a good whack too!

Jamie Farrington has won a fully assisted music place at Wells       Cathedral School.  Wells is known as one of the most prestigious schools in Europe for pupils with particular music talent and Jamie follows Ruairidh Matthews who won a similar award last year.

Lucy fought off fierce competition to take her place as a key  figure in one of the most  exciting Art     departments in the country: that of Sherborne Girls’ School.
