EIGHT MORE SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO SIXTH FORM PUPILS

We are very proud of our sixth form who have won 11 scholarships to date, showing tremendous talent and dedication. The most recent are pictured above. Alexander    Ferguson was awarded the Top Academic Scholarship to Sherborne. This is not awarded every year. Meg Hughes-Chamberlain won one of the top Music Scholarships to Bryanston. Tom Jackman won an All-Rounder Scholarship to Blundell’s and India Lewis a combined Music and Academic Scholarship to Kelly College. Oscar Mustard won an All-Rounder exhibition and James Perring the Top Academic Scholarship, both to Blundell’s. Gemma Robbins and Eliza Sale both won All-Rounder Scholarships to Blundell’s and Sherborne Girls respectively. Well done to all of them!

Mr Henderson, the Director of Music from Sherborne School, adjudicated our Instrumental competition at the end of term. He described the standard of music at Mount House as ‘outstanding’ and the performances as ‘well-prepared, stunning and very impressive’. Congratulations to all who participated in the competition and to the winners: George McGregor, Hunter Strand, Isabel Kidner, Gemma Robbins, India Lewis, Meg Hughes-Chamberlain and Jamie Farrington, pictured above with Mr Henderson.
